Email Digest for Plant Updates and Insight Reminders

Feature Overview

The Email Digest includes two types of automated emails:

• Plant Digest: A recurring overview of recent activity, such as alerts, inspections completed, and failures resolved. Sent daily, weekly, or monthly.
   

• Insights Reminder: A monthly notification when older insights remain unchecked, helping prevent backlog and ensure nothing critical is overlooked.
  
   

These summaries are designed to prioritize the most recent and relevant data, helping teams review plant performance more efficiently.

Why It Matters

Many users spend valuable time switching between dashboards or filtering through events to get a sense of plant status. Without a centralized summary, it’s easy to miss updates or fall behind on unresolved insights.

The Email Digest makes it easier to monitor what matters — from ongoing performance issues to task completion — while reducing the need to actively search through the platform.

How It Works

• Plant Digest emails are sent at the frequency you define (daily, weekly, or monthly) and include:
  
  
  • The latest insights from monitored assets
     
  • Inspections recently completed by your team
     
  • Failure events that have been resolved
     
  • Events are sorted by actual occurrence date, ensuring accuracy and relevance
    
     
• Insights Reminder emails are sent monthly, but only when pending insights reach a critical threshold. They show:
  
  
  • Total pending insights in the plant
     
  • Number of insights checked this month
     
  • Daily average of insights generated
     
  • A list of the oldest unresolved insights
